How Do You Say Still in Mandarin Chinese?

Hi everyone! Welcome back to learn Chinese Mandarin terms.

The word I am talking about today is “hái”(还). Usually, “hái”(还)means “still, more and yet”. It is often used before verb. Let us not beat around the bush and look at some examples.

Example:

1. Nǐ hái yǒu qián ma?    

Do you still have more money?

 

2. Hái yǒu fáng jiān ma?　　   Are there still any more rooms?

 

3. Hái  yǒu dǎ zhé ma?        Any more discounts till now?
