IB Chinese Teacher Penkry Gao
Penkry holds an M.A. in Language Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University, a B.A. in English (Teaching Profession) and a B.S. in Applied Psychology from Tianjin Normal University. She also holds a Teacher Qualification Certificate in China.
Penkry is experienced in teaching students from international schools with non-Mandarin and non-Chinese language backgrounds, in helping them with their Chinese study and achieve good marks in both exams and daily lives. She is familiar with IB Chinese, IGCSE Chinese and AP Chinese. Her classes are also focused on students’ individual situations and needs. Besides English and Mandarin, she also understands German, Japanese, Cantonese and Latin. With her rich background in languages and passion in language teaching and learning, she is able to empower her students to make rapid progress in her classes.
