I’m Beryl Bai. My hometown is Xi’ning in Qinghai province. I graduated from Renmin University located in Beijing, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. During University I volunteered as a teacher for migrant worker’s children. This was when I discovered my passion for teaching. I think of teaching as a calling, not only a job. I am constantly researching and pursuing new ideas to help me in my teaching and benefit our clients. As a teacher I want to inspire students rather than just tutor them. In my spare time, I like reading, hiking, as well as playing the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument.

Ni hao, wo shi Jo Gong. I am from Shanghai. I graduated from Shanghai Normal University with a Bachelor Degree. As part of my University program I studied one year at University of Dayton in the United States. There I enhanced my professional skills, improved my English language skills and also got a chance to be immersed in Western culture. So I understand how rewarding learning a foreign language can be. Before joining New Concept Mandarin, I worked in an American global sourcing company. I enjoy teaching very much since I can help our clients improve their Chinese and thereby enjoy more their stay in China. Let's meet in Shanghai!

Ni hao. Wo shi Ida Zhang, I come from Yi’ning in Xinjiang province. I graduated from the Southwest Forestry University in Kunming. I have been based in Shanghai for four years. Being a Mandarin teacher is full of challenges, but also very rewarding. I really enjoy sharing Chinese culture with our clients. I have developed a great passion for this career. In my spare time, I like watching movies, listening to music and swimming.

Ni hao. Wo shi Jing. I come from Shanxi province, Datong city. I graduated from the China Institute of Defense Science and Technology in Beijing with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management. I began teaching Mandarin to foreigners in 2009. In Beijing I have taught the managers of 5-star hotels and foreign companies as well as foreign lawyers and children. In 2010 New Concept Mandarin sent me to work in our Shanghai training centre.I am a dynamic and passionate teacher. I am proud of helping foreigners experience the charming world of Chinese language and culture. Apart from teaching, I like playing electronic piano, singing, and writing. I believe all my students who want to learn Chinese can believe in the saying “Persevere and you will never fail”.
