I have now completed Level 2 Survival and am already very comfortable to have basic conversations in my day to day life here in Suzhou. Right from the beginning my teacher Lexie has become and amazing teacher and support in my learning of a new language. As the leader of a new company in China, all of my team are for the most part Mandarin speaking only so it was very important for me to learn the basics as quickly as possible. Already after completing Level 2 Survival I can understand about 40% of the conversations and for the most part able to respond in basic Mandarin. As I start Level 3 Survival, I am confident that I will only become more proficient and confident in my new skills.
As a very busy business person, it is always difficult to absorb so much so quickly, but the pace and teaching techniques of New Concept Mandarin and my piaoliang laoshi Lexie, it is absolutely possible.
