Nihao, wo shi Maggie. I come from Lanzhou in Gansu province where I completed a Bachelor degree in English Language and Literature at Lanzhou Jiaotong University. During University I began to tutor English part-time and gained a passion for teaching as well as some understanding of language learning. Joining NCM gave me the opportunity to further my studies in this field through our train the trainer programs. I believe helping my students apply what they learn in the classroom is the toughest but most important challenge as a teacher. The successful results of my students communicating with local people is my biggest achievement. In my spare time I enjoy blogging about language learning, watching movies and listening to music.

Nǐ hǎo,wǒ shì Sylvia Xiao.I come from Jiangxi Province,and I graduated from Jinggang Mountain University,my major is English Education.After my graduation in 2003,I worked as an English teacher in a high school at my hometown.I am really enjoying myself being a Mandarin teacher, because I love it so much,although it is full of challenges.I am fond of sharing Chinese language and culture with foreign friends.I feel greatly rewarded when my learners can communicate with local Chinese smoothly.

Ni hao. Wo shi Sophie, from Luoyang in Henan province. I got my Bachelor degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures at Henan Institute of Science and Technology. After being a member of New Concept Mandarin, I have been the instructor of managers and directors who are from well-known companies, such as Park Hyatt, Volvo and Walmart. "Helping others will benefit yourself as well." I'm so glad when they can talk with others in Chinese and enjoy their lives not only in Shanghai, but also all over the country. Traveling is my favourite. I like to experience different things and make my life colourful.

Ni hao, Wo shi Grace. I come from Anhui province and graduated from the Anhui foreign languages college.before joining NCM,I had been a commercial representative in a Spanish exhibition company,which is located in Shanghai. Now I’m a full-time Mandarin teacher of NCM Shanghai centre.I saw NCM employment ad information completely by chance,but I appreciate my final choice. Because I could devote my Chinese knowledge to clients,and share the joy of progress with them.I hope that more and more foreign friends could speak fluent and practical Mandarin,and then enjoy their life in China.

Hi, ni hao ,wo shi Cathy .I come from xi’an which is an old and charming city with a long history in the Northwest of China .My major is teaching Chinese to the speakers of other languages .I do love my major that’s why I choose to come here in shanghai and work for my major . I do love to meet people from all over the world teach them Chinese and spread our splendid culture. I have a great sense of satisfaction when my students tell me they like Chinese and speaking Chinese is so easy and fun. I think there are still so much for me to learn in the future, I wanna grow up with NCM and thanks so much for NCM gave me this chance to do the things that I want .Wish all of you enjoy learning Mandarin with us !

Nǐ hǎo ， wǒ shì Lisa. I come from Hunan province, and graduated from Ludong University with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management. In 2008 ,I taught a Korean Chinese who is a doctor in Seoul National University. After graduation I worked as a course consultant in EF and taught my foreign colleagues Chinese as well. Before I joined NCM Shanghai , I know it would be a challenge for me to be a mandarin teacher, but I am attracted by the great Chinese culture and since the students have passion to learn, I have passion to teach. Like the old Chinese saying “Constant dropping wears the stone”, if you persist in something, you would be expert of the area. So have fun and enjoy your life in China. I like Yoga ,blog and make meals in my spare time.
