Mandarin Chinese Immersion Program Description
Mandarin Immersion Program Teachers' Profile/Pictures

Your Immersion learning will be supported by a team of well trained, professional instructors and staff members. All instructors are native speakers, have university degrees, and have experience teaching Mandarin to foreigners. More importantly, they have participated in our in-house Train The Trainer Program (TTT) and got certified before starting to teach our program. In addition to their professional credentials, they are all selected for their abilities to keep students entertained and interested during the program.

Karen Li Hua Wu 
Hi, I am Karen from Shenzhen. I teach Mandarin and Cantonese as well. I enjoy teaching as I think that’s not only giving but also sharing and receiving. Every progress you made that makes me feel most happy and satisfied. Don’t be afraid to speak Chinese, only practice makes perfect. You will find learning Chinese with NCM is the most enjoyable and funny. I am looking forward to see you all in NCM.
Janice, Dan Jiang 
Hi, wǒ jiào Janice, an active and friendly girl who graduated in English department in Guizhou Normal University. When I was a child, I had a dream: to be a bridge between Chinese and foreigners. Now, my dream and major are connected by my teaching. My job gives me a lot of satisfaction. I feel very happy and I hope to share this kind of happiness and my knowledge with you.
Jasmine Wu 
Hi! Ni hao! Wo jiao Jasmine. I graduated from Luoyang Normal University and majored in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. Do you know mò lì huā (Jasmine)? Have you ever heard of the Chinese folk song "mò lì huā"? If not, just remember to come here and then let me provide you a fragrant journey of Chinese culture. Smell! My sweet present is surrounding you.
Maggie Jing Yang 
Hello, everybody! I am Maggie. I come from the northwestern part of China, Gansu province. I majored in English Language and Literature in university. I am especially interested in western culture, as well as introducing Chinese culture to western people. For me, teaching is a very rewarding work, especially when seeing each student is making continuous progress and showing his/her great interests in learning the language. Wish you enjoy the life and enjoy every minute in New Concept Mandarin!
Chloe Zhi Wen Lu 
Nihao, wo shi Chloe. (Hello, I am Chloe.) I am originally from Hunan province, where I graduated from Business College majoring in English. I worked as a full-time teacher for New Concept Mandarin in Guangzhou and Suzhou before and now in Beijing. I like travelling, reading and playing basketball. I also enjoy making new friends from different countries. So, go for “slam dunk” and I wish you have good time in China.
Margaret Qian Huang 
Nihao, wo shi Maggie. I taught in Nanjing before and now am based in Shanghai. I received my Bachelor in Southeast University and then worked for an international company as a trainer. Four years of English teaching experience has made me full of passion and patience. I’m happy to see the progress of students especially their confidence to communicate with local people. Let's share the happiness in Mandarin learning!
Fiona Chu Fang Tsou 
I am Fiona and I am from Taiwan. I completed my Bachelor degree of Mass Communication in Taiwan and worked for advertising agency both in Taiwan and Beijing. Now I am a Mandarin teacher. I love to share not only the language itself but also the Chinese culture with my students.
Leann Lai Ying Kwan 
Hi, Ni hao! I am Leann. I was born in Fujian and moved to HK when I was a youngster. I came from Chinese University of HK as an Engineering graduate and I have been several years to US where I see the power of language for good communication. After that, I start my career as a language teacher. I love teaching in NCM. I am glad to see the students using Mandarin fluently in daily conversation.
Vivan Guo 
Hi! Guten Tag! Nimen hao, wo shi Vivian. I majored in Communication Science and stayed in Austria for 4 years where I spent much time wandering in concerts, museums and chasing for various beautiful landscapes. For me, Mandarin--one of the most beautiful languages in the world, is like an amazing melody that flows softly around us everyday. It would be nice to wave hello to you in NCM:)
Sue Liu 
Ni hao! I am Sue. I started my career in as a teacher after four and a half years of study in the UK. I really enjoy the time being with students in New Concept Mandarin. It’s been a lot of enjoyment sharing the experience of language learning with students and seeing students exploring the fun of leaning Mandarin. I am really happy to hear my students talk to me in Chinese.
Natalie Wang 
Hi, nǐ hǎo, wǒ shì Natalie from Guizhou. The years studying in Swansea University in the UK let me know a lot about the western world. My teaching experience makes me know a lot about teaching foriegners Chinese, and thus, creates a lot of learning activities. My students enjoy these a lot, as if enjoying my fun, make-things-easy teaching style. My students enjoy Chinese language and Chinese culture in my lessons. We are best friends!
Daisy Liang 
Hello! I'm Daisy from Hunan Province. I had been a teacher of English in a private college for two years and now become a Mandarin teacher. I like hot food, teaching, and love my students. I'm always patient and enjoying my job! You can easily recognize me by my beaming smile!
Lily Han 
Hi, wo jiao Lily. I am from the northern China. I worked as a preschool English teacher after my university graduation. Now I am a full time teacher in NCM. I love teaching, and really enjoy my job.
Susanna Hu 
Ni hao! Wo xing Hu (My family name is Hu.) I am from Hubei. I worked as an English Teacher after I graduated from my university. But I found that teaching Chinese to western people is more fun for me. I like my students and they like me.
Becky Ling Fu 
Hi, I am Becky. I majored in International Business during my university studies, but I became more interested in teaching after graduation and joined New Concept Mandarin 2 years ago. I enjoy teaching Mandarin and meeting people from all over the world who come to study Chinese with us in Shenzhen. I learnt much about teaching Mandarin here and also different cultures from my students. it makes me feel so proud to see my students' Chinese knowledge develop from knowing nothing to becoming fluent.
Yeping Yu  
I'm Yeping and I am from Beijing. As a Beijing ren (Bejing native) I tend to speak Mandarin with a little Beijing accent. My first job was in Nokia and worked as a trainer. Now I am a Mandarin teacher. I enjoy practicing Mandarin with my students both in classroom and online. I am now based in Hong Kong so I can speak some Cantonese as well.
