Fu Xianling received his MA in applied linguistics and has had 15 years university teaching experience in both China and Australia. He was the General Manager and Program Director of MACH Mandarin, a leading international Mandarin teaching company. Fu Xianling brings his extensive experiences in both management and teaching to New Concept Mandarin.

    Joanna is originally from Beijing. She graduated from China Foreign Affairs University with a Bachelor's Degree in English for Foreign Affairs. Her working experience in Finance and Banking industries in Beijing, Singapore and Hong Kong has enabled her to communicate comfortably with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Joanna is a swimmer, and loves music, books, sun and beach.

    Hi, I am Becky. I majored in International Business during my university studies, but I became more interested in teaching after graduation and joined New Concept Mandarin 4 years ago. I enjoy teaching Mandarin and meeting people from all over the world who come to study Chinese with us in Shenzhen. I learnt much about teaching Mandarin here and also different cultures from my students. it makes me feel so proud to see my students' Chinese knowledge develop from knowing nothing to becoming fluent.

    Maggie comes from Lanzhou in Gansu province where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature at Lanzhuo Jiaotong University. Her time at university and her experience as an English teacher were where she acquired a good understanding of languages and developed the passion for teaching her students now see in her lessons. She believes that getting students to apply what they learned in the classroom is one of the toughest challenges as a teacher, but this is also her biggest achievement when she gets her students communicating with the local people. Maggie spends her free time blogging, watching movies and listening to music.

    Sandy comes from Wuhan in Hubei province. She is an experience English teacher who loves to teach and enjoys working with her students very much. Sandy is interested in western culture enjoys discovering western culture through her students and sharing everything about the ancient Chinese culture with them. Her students can enjoy her help not only inside the classroom but also outside the classroom in the real world. Sandy likes to go shopping, travelling and doing sports in her free time.

    Nihao, wo shi Maggie. I taught in Nanjing before and now am based in Shanghai. I received my Bachelor in Southeast University and then worked for an international company as a trainer. Four years of English teaching experience has made me full of passion and patience. I’m happy to see the progress of students especially their confidence to communicate with local people. Let's share the happiness in Mandarin learning!

    Ni hao, I'm Wing from Nanjing. I received my Bachelor Degree of Business English in Beijing. I feel really proud when my students say they can understand Chinese better and better. But I also want to teach more than just survival words. I like reading, especially history books. So in my class, students can learn many historical stories about the background of the words and Chinese culture. Hopefully these stories can help my students understand China better.

I worked as a full-time teacher for New Concept Mandarin in Shenzhen before and now in Suzhou.     I’m Beryl Bai. My hometown is Xi’ning in Qinghai province. I graduated from Renmin University located in Beijing, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. During University I volunteered as a teacher for migrant worker’s children. This was when I discovered my passion for teaching. I think of teaching as a calling, not only a job. I am constantly researching and pursuing new ideas to help me in my teaching and benefit our clients. As a teacher I want to inspire students rather than just tutor them. In my spare time, I like reading, hiking, as well as playing the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese musical instrument.
