Managing Director - Fu Xianling

Fu Xianling received his MA in applied linguistics and has had 15 years university teaching experience in both China and Australia. He was the General Manager and Program Director of MACH Mandarin, a leading international Mandarin teaching company. Fu Xianling brings his extensive experiences in both management and teaching to New Concept Mandarin.

  Maggie Yang

  Nihao, wo shi Maggie. I come from Lanzhou in Gansu province where I completed a Bachelor degree in English Language and Literature at Lanzhou Jiaotong University. During University I began to tutor English part-time and gained a passion for teaching as well as some understanding of language learning. Joining NCM gave me the opportunity to further my studies in this field through our train the trainer programs. I believe helping my students apply what they learn in the classroom is the toughest but most important challenge as a teacher. The successful results of my students communicating with local people is my biggest achievement. In my spare time I enjoy blogging about language learning, watching movies and listening to music.

  Sandy Pan

  Hi, I am Sandy, Center Manager and trainer in Dongguan. I come from Wuhan in Hubei province. I received my Bachelor degree in English education from Wuhan Education College. At first I was an English teacher and learned to love helping others communicate. I joined New Concept Mandarin more than 3 years ago and learned the NCM teaching methodology, which is a very enjoyable way to teach. It is also very rewarding as it helps our students learn fast. I am interested in Western culture which I learn a lot about from our students. I also enjoy sharing our great Chinese culture with them so they enjoy their days in China even more. I can help my students inside the classroom, but I also like to take them out and help them practice in the real world; learning by doing is our main philosophy. In my free time I like to go shopping, travelling and doing sports. Now as manager, however, my free time is not so much, but I enjoy the time together with our students so it is even more rewarding and fun.

  Ni hao! Wo shi Jolene. I received my Bachelor degree from Nanjing Normal University with a major in English. I love working for New Concept Mandarin. The NCM methodology makes teaching Chinese fun and effective and also allows me to learn so much from my students. All my students like my classes. I am both patient and knowledgeable. And I also keep updating my knowledge as our society develops and new words are coined. We are always ready to share with our students the newest and most practical Chinese.   Wendy Fu

  I'm Wendy from Wuhan. I graduated from Hubei University of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in biotechnology. I worked as a full-time teacher for New Concept Mandarin in Shenzhen from 2006 and now in Suzhou. I focus on improving my students' confidence first and finding ways to make learning Chinese interesting and effective.   Hello, wo shi Vienna, from Heyuan, Guangdong Province. I gained my bachelor degree from Guangdong Ocean University and majored in English. Amazed by the power of languages and attracted by the predomination of English teaching, I decided to become a teacher after graduation. With several years teaching experience, I decided to slightly change my career and teach Mandarin to Westerners instead.   Ni hao, wo shi Julita,(Hello,I am Julita )I am from Chengdu,sichuan, we have a saying here :tian bu pa, di bu pa,, jiu pa si chuan ren shuo pu tong hua.(Chinese are afraid nothing except when Sichuan people talk in Mandarin ,because usually people here has very strong accent when they speak Mandarin :P), but do not be worried, I speak very standard Mandarin and so do the other teachers in our center. I graduated from Sichuan Southwest University of Nationality, where I get used to the different culture and language. I got two bachelor degrees in English and Tourism, so during my teaching I can use very fluent English to communicate with you and I also would like to share lots of interesting Chinese culture and stories with you.I worked as a full-time teacher for New Concept Mandarin from 2011..
